On this page of the site I listed different pointers and little hints to help everyone to gain lots of experience in the game without having to actually learn it the "hard way".  I divided them up into two different sections - "Security" and "Taking Accounts".  The security section is more important to start off with because it "protects" you from being scammed.  All the links are highlight in White.

Security Section

Protecting Your Password

Protecting your password is the most important thing for anyone who is playing the game.  For one it stops any other people who want to get into your account and it also allows you to keep cars, money, etc. in the account without caution.

When you first make your account it asks for a e-mail. Make sure it is a e-mail that you are going to keep because incase you forget your password you need the e-mail to send the password to yourself for remembrance.

When you are making your password don't make it your - name, a car, team name, hobby, sport, instrument, etc.  Because lets say that the person gets a hold of your screen name and decides to look you up in a member profile.  If you list that one of your hobbies is baseball (that is just a example) and your password is that it will be easy for the person to get in.  The same can go for your name.  And the worst thing to do is to make your password something like - nitto. nitto 1320 challenge, etc.  Because those will be even easier to guess and are usually tried when trying to hack into someone's account.

  What should my password be?

Your password should be something that is nothing that your friends could guess like a nickname or something.  However a nickname would be a pretty good choice if you trust your friends.  But I wouldn't recommend it to be on the safe side.

Your password should be like a number which letter(s).  Example: A4321 - What are the chances of someone guessing your password of being A4321.  However since it was listed on the site it wouldn't be a good choice anymore.

*** This is a excellent link that will generate a random password that you can custom the length, certain characters, numbers, etc.  This is a Yellow Hand recommended site - Password Generator
Something happened to my cars and/or money, have I been scammed?

It is a possibility that someway your account was cracked by a hacker or your password was someway hinted off by something that is open to the public such as a profile, online information, or you don't have a firewall and it was in a document.

Nitto 1320 Challenge does sometimes have technical difficulties and Personal Funds, Team Account Funds, or Cars have been lost due to this defect.  This has happened to me (Yellow Hand) and it will happen to more than 1/2 of all the people who play Nitto 1320 Challenge.

This part of this FAQ is related to the fact that you were scammed.  The scammer doesn't need to know your password to get in.  The only way this can happen is if you leave your account logged on, on a computer at your friend's house, etc.  This is a bad thing because your friend can easily transfer the cars and money onto his/her account.
If i catch a scammer in action how can i report to a MOD

You can go report it to a MOD or Admin they can't do anything unless you have proof.  The only way you can catch someone red handed on Nitto 1320 Challenge or on a communication program such as AOL or AIM is to take a screenshot.  You simply follow these instuction listed below.
  1. Press the "Shift" button and hold it down.
  2. Then press the Print Screen button which is located on most keyboards on the right side above the set of buttons including - insert, home, page up, page down, delete, end - The Print Screen button is next to the scroll lock button if that helps your search.
  3. Then your screen is like a picture that is on your clipboard.  You can open paint which is on most computers and simply do edit-paste.  This will get the picture into the program and then you can save it on your computer.
  4. You can also put it in other photo/picture programs if you wished.

Taking Accounts Section

Guessing Passwords

Guessing passwords is no the wisest thing to do all the time because there are thousands of possible passwords that can be used for a account password.  But if you happen to meet a not so intelligent person on Nitto 1320 Challenge and you find there screen name you can look up their hobbies, name, etc.  Therefore it narrows down the chances of it being some weird number with letters.

If you are thinking but how do I know the person will do that then read this part -
Just try to use hobbies, names, car names, etc.  on a account.  You should only do this if you can't take the person's account by them telling you the password because eventually you can get blocked onto that account.  But it is always worth a try.

All the stuff that is listed under Password Security under the Security Section is what you should do in the opposite way.
What are ways to convince people that i am a mod/admin on my aol/aim?

Well if you were on a phone and you were trying to sound like a adult what would you do.  You would try to use proper wording and have a deeper voice, right? Well it is the same type of thinking on the computer.  You should type like you were writing a essay that was being graded.  Use periods, commas, full words, etc.  Don't use short-cuts such as - i c, r, yu, u, y, mi, wat^,yo - There are other short-cuts that you probably use with your friends that you shouldn't use when scamming.

You can use screenshots to convince them that you are a Admin. or MOD.  I made a page with lots of different screenshots that you can use for yourself or to help the Yellow Hand.  All of the screenshots have a "Blocker" on them so you cannot steal them unless you are a member.  If you want to be a member go to the Membership Section of this site, or click HERE
