MX4 Research is a technologies market research and project management firm based in northern New Jersey. 

Scott Petretta, President of the Company, has a long history of successful technology and regulatory compliance projects.  A certified project manager, he was Prudential Financial's first Director of Enterprise Business Continuity.  He conceived and implemented a methodology to bring the company's 400 departments at over 200 locations into regulatory compliance in less than six months (as audited by Price Waterhouse).    He designed the company's Enterprise Business Continuity System to securely share information for all of the company's plans.

Prior to 9/11 he helped develop the specifications for an aggressive airport digital video security network that covered over 200 checkpoints at all three airports with the links to all major airlines.  He was the managing consultant for the New York New Jersey Port Authority's Aviation Department's Y2K contingency planning efforts.  He developed a coordinated rollover testing program that included the three major airports in the region (JFK, LGA, EWR), the FAA, state and local authorities and over twenty major airlines. 

A graduate of Montclair State University, he holds an MBA and BA.  His MBA thesis, Deregulation of ATT:  Over Supply In The Interexchange Carrier Market, included a very accurate econometric forecasting model. 

He has authored or co-authored several technology market research studies including Video Conferencing Markets;  Microwave Equipment Markets for Commercial and Military Applications (published by Probe Research); Video Applications and Digital Cross Connect Systems.  He has also produced a number of technology conferences including Video Processing - The Convergence of Commercial Markets and Gallium Arsenide, Markets and Strategies for Military Applications.
