A certified project manager, he held the position of Director of Enterprise Business Continuity at Prudential Financial and developed a methodology to bring the company's four hundred departments at over two hundred locations into regulatory compliance -- under the review of Price Waterhouse. He was the managing consultant for the New York New Jersey Port Authority's Aviation Department's Y2K contingency planning efforts and coordinated plan development and testing across the three major airports in the region (JFK, LGA, EWR), the FAA, state and local authorities and private companies (all major airlines). He also helped develop the specifications for an aggressive airport digital video security network prior to 9/11. Mr. Petretta is a graduate of Montclair State University, where he holds an MBA and BA. His MBA thesis, Deregulation of ATT: Over Supply In The Interexchange Carrier Market, included a very accurate econometric forecasting model. He has authored or co-authored several technology market research studies including Video Conferencing Markets, Microwave Equipment Markets for Commercial and Military Applications ( Probe Research,), Video Applications and Digital Cross Connect Systems.
